DIY: On-The-Go Hand Cleaner Spray

DIY: On-The-Go Hand Cleaner Spray
When you’re allergic to most hand soaps you find in public, you have to find easy ways to remedy this! I didn’t want to lug a bottle of my own soap around so this is a perfect way to safely clean my hands while I am out. In addition, even if you don’t have visible reactions, who wants a bunch of chemicals on them? Not me! Did you know the average woman puts hundreds of chemicals on her body daily? Yikes.
Here check out the Environmental Working Group to see how safe your cleaning products are.
With this DIY Recipe you’re cleaning your hands and supporting that immune system, so hello!?
Ingredients/Materials:
-Pinch of Salt
-5 drops ThievesEssential Oil
*optional: 3 Lemon Essential Oil
*Optional: Washi Tape or Label
Instructions:
Add salt to bottle. Add Essential Oils and roll around in salt for 20-30 seconds or so to absorb and prevent oil from pooling to the top. Top off with water. To use just spray your hands 1-3x and rub it in.
Other uses for your Thieves Spray:
-Soothe the throat
-Air Freshener
-Dog Bed Freshener
-Furniture Freshener
-In the Fall and Winter, I will spray it a couple times on our pillows each night before bed to keep them fresh and support our immune systems while we sleep
-To clean a sticky table at a restaurant (I’ve done this a few times now!)
-Spray work or cubicle area and chair
-Offer it to people to use
-Give as a gift with a little card that has the recipe and tells them what it is and how to use it
