This event is an important fundraiser for Cancer Council Victoria with all monies raised going into research, prevention programs, and information and support services.
Dogs – of all breeds and ages – understand the emotions of their owners throughout this difficult time: the time to give a sloppy ‘kiss’, the time to be quiet at their owner’s feet, the time to ‘suggest’ a walk as part of a wellbeing regime, the time to put their head on their owner’s lap to encourage and support them through a tiring and sometimes painful day
At this event, cancer survivors are acknowledged, those who have left us are remembered, and members of the public from all walks of life; all ages, and from all towns and suburbs across Melbourne (and Victoria) come together to walk with (or without) their dogs to raise much needed funds to fight back against this insidious disease.

This celebration will be a fun day for the whole family with moving ceremonies, entertainer Krishool (as seen on The Voice in Will.I.Am’s team), Paw Patrol’s Chase, a Body Attack class, a Blessing of the Animals ceremony, a Passport quiz, 'Best Dressed Dog' competition, Canine Wellness Kitchen food truck to refuel the canine troops, colourful vendors and of course and food and coffee to tempt your tastebuds!
